Now starting our fifth month of 2022 and still thriving with so many job opportunities in Design and Architecture. The “IN” software still being Revit and heavily in demand. Mainly looking for mid-level candidates with salaries between £35 – £50k.

Workplace interiors still super busy, but also a real surge in Health care and Lab Design requirements with many companies trying to add this sector to their list of expertise.

Unfortunately, there is a real shortage of candidates, this I believe is down to a high percentage of designers and architects not traveling so much. This has not been helped by Brexit and Covid-19.

Although… there is a new Free Trade Agreement recently sealed between the UK and Australia.

In brief:

  • Working Holiday Visas will now be extended to UK or Australian citizens up to 35 years old.
  • The length of stay will be increased, now allowing this cohort to work in the respective region for up to three years.
  • The qualifications of Working Visa holder candidates from the respective countries will be recognised, making it easier for them to secure a role within their chosen profession.

We are desperately seeking qualified interior designers and architects with Revit skills in London” .

So, seems we’re not the only ones needing more Candidates coming into the country.

If you are looking to work in the UK – do not hesitate to reach out, we’ll get you in touch with Oliver asap!
