How does it work?

BT&P work specifically in the Architecture and Interior Design community – we recruit from Graduate to Director level, and everyone in between.

Our long-term industry engagement means we are connected to thousands of firms, meaning we are an integral part of their strategic hiring forecasts and beyond, giving us unique insight into overall employment trends.

We know the jobs of the past, the present and of the future. Our Consultants are trained to support and represent you with efficiency, professionalism and empathy.

Step 1: Make contact

Whether through an ad, a referral, signing up to job alerts – we connect and start the journey.

Step 2: Meet with your consultant

This is when we get to know who you are and what you can do. We want to learn everything we can, from detailed resume discussion and portfolio presentation and analysis to market salaries, job briefs – now is the time we talk.

Step 3: We get to work!

Sometimes we will have the perfect role available, other times we’ll tailor a specific search. In all instances, you will have complete control of your career.
Let’s talk about ethics & the privacy act for a moment… We’ll NEVER send you information anywhere, without your consent. Your consultant will take you through positions in detail, and then YOU decide if you think it’s right.

Step 4: Interviews

We arrange interviews, provide top tips and insights into what to expect: no hidden surprises, our Consultants will prepare you!

Step 5: Negotiating with confidence

Your Consultant is there with you at each stage of the process, from getting interview feedback, talking through rates, to employment contracts and offers – we support and guide to ensure your optimal outcome.

Step 6: Placed, but not forgotten

At BT&P we build relationships for life, we will always follow up to make sure you are happy in your new role. We are there any time you need us – now and in the future.
