Our client is on the lookout for an ArchiCAD superstar who wants to step up and eventually become a BIM manager. In this role, you will build and assist in the rollout of BIM initiatives as well as take part in global BIM events. This is the perfect role for someone wanting to truly elevate their career and one day step into a National Global or Studio BIM Manager
Our client is an award-winning international studio with a strong national presence. With over 50 people in their Melbourne studio, this diverse workplace is known for its timeless design. Working across hospitality, hotels, commercial and Multi-residential there are very few project sectors that this studio doesn't cover.
With ambitious growth plans, this studio has seen the need to bring onboard someone to work hand in hand with the Global BIM manager and work in a 2IC capacity. In a role title Assistant BIM manager, the ideal candidate will see themselves reporting to the wider BIM team and studio leadership.
This role will see you be a key part of the studios growth plan as you will develop new BIM initiatives and assist in training new staff in ArchiCAD as well as being involved in managing the BIM server.
In your day today, you will see yourself become an integral part of the studio. With involvement in key projects as a need-be basis model manager you will be overseeing and be involved in Project Audits, enforcement of documentation standards, be an ArchiCAD point of reference within the studio. You will also develop and implement new training systems for staff and assist in the management of the BIM ecosystem.
To be eligible for the role the ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong ArchiCAD skills minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
- Good communication skills
- Be well versed in office 365
- Have at least 2 years of local experience in architecture
- Be able to prioritise work in a dynamic work environment
- IT Problem solving skills
