Working in the finance and administration team and reporting to the Group Director of Finance in Sydney, this immediate start long-term contract opportunity will suit a talented accounts professional who enjoys working in a creative working environment.
This role will see you working in a broadly based capacity across Architectural project administration, studio profitability, office management / minor HR responsibilities, assisting with the national payroll process, accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities. While this is a broadly based position, you will be required to have polished invoicing capabilities. You will be working side by side another Finance and Administration Assistant to share the workload. You will also be involved in the fortnightly payroll processing, EFT payments, overseas payments, debt collection & monthly management reporting with the group finance team. As such, you must have demonstrated experience working with P&L's, project profitability tracking, income/profitability projections, reviewing supplier agreements, timesheet data, approval & posting, employee set up, full accounts receivable duties and accounts payable (working with an accounts payable assistant).
You will have a strong familiarity with Deltek (Vision, specifically), with our Client also holding a strong preference for someone who has previously worked within the Architecture / Design / Construction industry.
This role is programmed for a 12-month fixed-term tenured position, but there is a strong likelihood of an extension to a longer-term duration!
