About the company: Our client is a boutique design house who are looking to bring onboard an interior designer to work across their residential and hospitality projects.
This multi-disciplinary practice is home to a tight-knit team of professionals who work across award winning residential, commercial and hospitality projects both domestically and internationally. With a strong interest in materiality and a keen eye for detailing, our clients design approach is perfect for a mid-level interior designer wanting to elevate their career and further push their skillset.
About the role: In this role you will work closely under an associate and work autonomously within a team environment. Your day to day will see you gain exposure to all facets of the business, with involvement from concept design through to project completion.
Duties/Key responsibilities:
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and providing updates on project status, timelines and deliverables
  • Working on projects independently, with support from the wider team
  • Assisting Senior Designers as directed
  • Project Coordination
  • Assisting with concept and detailed design of interior and architectural projects
  • Undertake partial or full documentation of project
  • Assisting with preparation of specifications and schedules
  • Fulfilling the requirements of QA plan
  • Liaising with client & consultants under the direction of the Project Leader
  • Working in ArchiCAD or AutoCAD to produce high quality design documentation drawings
  • Production of work in allotted time
Our client is ideally looking for someone with the following attributes, skills and demonstrated work experience:

  • Ability to prioritise and work autonomously within a team
Skills and experience:
  • Coordinating of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic Engineering Services Consultants
  • Coordination and liaison with other related professional consultants such as Acoustic Engineering, Audio Visual, Cost Planning, BCA Consultant, Structural, ESD, Graphic, Planting (Biophilia) and the like
  • Minimum 3 years of post graduate local experience working on ArchiCAD or AutoCAD (Recent Versions)
  • A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience working across residential, hospitality or commercial interior design projects in ArchiCAD or AutoCAD
  • High proficiency with Interior Design software such as InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
