Rare opportunity to join one of Australia's most successful design studios in this strategic role that is aimed at further expanding their high end design capacity.
Based on rapidly expanding client needs both locally and internationally and clear plans for strategic growth the need to engage an extraordinary design talent is now a high priority.
This role calls for a talented Design Architect, likely already in a role they are enjoying as a lead designer in a well regarded practice who may have reached a ceiling in terms of where their career may be heading.
You will be a natural at designing from first principals, an independent designer and thinker and capable of working in an array of 3D software such as Rhino, Revit and not forgetting your formidable freehand sketch skills.
You will be a natural at leading and working with a diverse range of clients and be seen as a leader and mentor to your (highly resourced) support team. This group believe that their key design staff have the freedom to work from "white paper" stages and develop early concepts through to highly developed and resolved projects.
Projects are varied in scale, and in keeping with this studio's past projects which involves national design awards for large scale prominent public buildings right through to boutique and highly resolved smaller scale projects. Ideally your background will reflect this.
