With a major project about to be given the go-ahead, this award-winning studio is about to make some serious waves in the Melbourne market. With planning stages about to ramp up, they require an Operations Manager to aid in the set-up of project processes and procedures in compliance with Client Standards.

Establishing project-specific operations, this multi-faceted operations role will directly impact the overall delivery of this high-profile project. Setting office-wide standards, this role will primarily report to the Chief Project Officer to ensure relevant procedures and processes meet government and project requirements, and to the Director as part of the overall team.

You will be responsible for authoring:

  • Quality assurance plans
  • OHS management plans
  • Information management plans
  • BIM execution plans
  • Sustainability plans
  • General project and procedures
  • Regular update of a full suite of Issue/Risk and Other Registers
  • Monthly reporting responsibilities - standard Project Control Group meeting cycle

Beyond project set-up, you will oversee daily operations across the project office.

Well versed in design and construction processes, you will be skilled and experienced in overall project and process management. The ideal candidate for this position will hold:

  • 10+ years in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
  • Strong process and leadership abilities
  • Understanding of architectural/design process
  • Experience in the delivery of public projects ($50m+)
